Course: Instructor: The Assignment: .
Students in this BFA Advertising and Graphic Design Department course were asked to create a character for a plush toy and encouraged to give it an unexpected or surprising feature—such as packaging that was part of the toy’s “habitat” or the ability to “eat” toy food that would be sold with it. Each concept was first submitted to the instructor as a drawing, and then developed into a prototype made of plush fabric, with plastic or other materials.
